Watch Dogs 1 is an open-world action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. Ubisoft began developing the game in 2009. A Wii U release is also expected. The game's plot revolves around the player's ability to hack into various electronic systems, controlling information or destroying it entirely.
The story begins in Chicago in 2003. A man named "Raymond" releases a computer virus. Twenty hours later, it spreads throughout the city. Twenty years later, the city is controlled by a single computer. Owned by a private company, this computer interacts with a system called "CTOS" that controls everything in the city: cameras, doors, bridges, communication networks, and more. Thanks to the virus, invading any city becomes easy.
