Bloody Roar 2 is the sequel. New and improved features include seven new characters (along with the four original fighters) with new moves and skins. Like the original, each character has their monster; Hugo turns into a ferocious werewolf, while vampire Jenny turns into a bat. There are eleven preset characters, with two more waiting to be unlocked. Arcade mode is unhindered by the computer AI. If players get bored with Arcade mode, a second player can join in or choose Resistance, a two-player duel. Survival mode is a series of challenges to see how many players can be defeated without being knocked out. In Story mode, an exact copy of Bloody Roar II, each character has their own scenario. As rounds are won, the story progresses and is resolved after the final battle.
